Software Category: A New Era in Security with Quantum
The software competition is based on recognizing noisy and low-quality facial images using quantum neural networks (QNN). Participants will carry the power of quantum computing into security applications by going beyond the limits of classical artificial intelligence.
Hardware Category: Devices That Measure the Pulse of Quantum
In the hardware category, competitors are expected to develop systems capable of making highly sensitive measurements at low temperatures using a Johnson noise thermometer. By creating reference signals with the quantum JAWS chip, participants will push the boundaries of precision in quantum metrology.
Big Prizes for Big Dreams!
Participants who place in either category will contribute to Turkey’s quantum future and receive significant monetary awards. Teams winning first place will be awarded 175,000 TRY, second place winners 150,000 TRY, and third place teams 125,000 TRY.
The Quantum Technologies Competition aims to enable young people to showcase their scientific potential while supporting the national technology initiative in the quantum field. Applications will close on July 30. Candidates wishing to participate can apply through TEKNOFEST’s official website.
