From the early hours of September 18, thousands of visitors flocked to Atatürk Airport. With thrilling technology competitions, breathtaking air shows, and interactive experience zones, the festival’s energy once again reached its peak. The enthusiasm of young people, the curiosity of families, and the passion of participants from all over Türkiye spread the true spirit of TEKNOFEST across Istanbul.

Throughout the day, air shows and defense technology showcases were among the main highlights. Spectacular demonstrations by SOLOTÜRK and the Turkish Stars, along with performances by Bayraktar AKINCI and Bayraktar TB3, delivered unforgettable moments in the skies of Istanbul. These displays not only captivated audiences on site but also spread excitement nationwide through thousands of shares on social media.
The Drone Championship finals added another thrilling chapter to the festival. With participants from 26 different countries, the competition brought intense rivalry and highlighted the global appeal of TEKNOFEST. Young talents received great applause as their innovative projects took center stage. Meanwhile, workshops on artificial intelligence, agricultural technologies, and space exploration offered visitors fresh insights and hands-on experiences.
Interactive shows such as the planetarium, science shows, the TEKNOFEST Time Tunnel, and live concerts kept thousands engaged throughout the day. Visitors of all ages enjoyed a unique combination of learning, inspiration, and entertainment, making the second day as unforgettable as the first.
Tomorrow (September 19), TEKNOFEST Istanbul will feature a very special lineup. Beloved artist Kıraç will take the stage in concert, and the festival will host the award ceremony with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, where the winners of TEKNOFEST competitions will be honored.
