TEKNOFEST 2026 Treatment Focus: Brain Cancer
This year, the treatment focus of the 3T in Oncology Competition has been determined as Brain Cancer. The competition seeks to foster projects that stand out scientifically and technologically, based on patient-specific and high-accuracy treatment approaches. By supporting innovative and feasible solutions in a critical field such as brain cancer, the competition aims to make a meaningful impact.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
The 3T in Oncology Competition encourages the integration of advanced technologies developed in genetic engineering, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and related disciplines into oncological problems. By bringing together young researchers and scientists from diverse fields around a common goal, the competition contributes to shaping the cancer treatment technologies of the future today.
Future Scientists Unite Through Broad Participation
Undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students—both Turkish citizens and international students studying in Türkiye or abroad—are eligible to participate as team members. PhD graduates may take part only as team advisors. Teams must consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of five members and are required to participate under the guidance of a qualified advisor in the relevant field.
Applications for the 3T in Oncology Competition will remain open until 20 February.
Strong Support for Innovative Projects with a Total Prize Pool of TRY 900,000
The 3T in Oncology Competition supports successful projects not only through scientific visibility but also with substantial monetary awards. The team that wins first place will receive TRY 400,000, the second-place team TRY 300,000, and the third-place team TRY 200,000. With a total prize pool of TRY 900,000, the competition aims to make a significant contribution to bringing innovative projects for brain cancer treatment to life.
