Two-Stage Competition Format
E-Commerce Hackathon 2025 will take place in a two-stage format that allows participants to showcase their competencies in both data science and user experience.

The first stage, a Kaggle competition, will be held online between August 8–22. In this round, participants will develop AI models to predict which products users will click on and which ones they will purchase during a session. The goal is to design innovative algorithms that improve the e-commerce experience through data-driven insights.

The second stage will be a physical Hackathon event held on September 13–14. In this round, teams that successfully complete the first stage will develop a product recommendation system that semantically analyzes user queries and functions beyond keyword-based search. Teams will present their interactive interfaces to a jury to earn a spot in the finals and compete for major prizes.

Participants must be between 15 and 30 years old, including high school and university students or recent graduates. The competition will be held in teams of 2 to 5 members, and high school teams are required to participate with a mentor. The event aims to provide a platform where young people can showcase their teamwork, problem-solving, and tech development skills.

With a total prize pool of 310,000 TRY, the E-Commerce Hackathon 2025 offers significant rewards to the top teams:
1st Place: 120,000 TRY
2nd Place: 100,000 TRY
3rd Place: 90,000 TRY

This exciting tech marathon, where young minds will fiercely compete in software development, data science, and user experience, will accept applications until August 5.
