"The Bartın University TEKNOFEST Club was established in 2025 with the aim of bringing the vision of the National Technology Initiative of Türkiye to university youth and contributing to the development of a qualified human capital capable of building future technologies. The club seeks to create an interdisciplinary ecosystem of learning and production, particularly in the fields of aviation, space, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and entrepreneurship.
The primary objective of the club is to support students in transforming their theoretical knowledge into project-based outcomes and to represent the university successfully at national and international platforms, especially TEKNOFEST. Shortly after its establishment, the club adopted a participatory, inclusive, and sustainable structure encompassing faculty, department, and student community representatives across the university.
Within this framework, the club has participated in the National Technology Summit in Istanbul, organized technical visits, conducted university-wide promotion and representation activities, and hosted technology talks to enhance awareness. Furthermore, the club strengthened its institutional capacity through a project accepted under the GSB ÜNİDES program and its membership in the TÜBİTAK National Technology Clubs Union (MTKB).
The club’s vision is to foster a productive, responsible, and innovation-oriented generation that transforms ideas into value-added projects. Through training programs, technical visits, peer learning, and project-based activities, the club continues its efforts in line with the goal of a fully independent Türkiye."
