We are a group of third-year chemical engineering students at Baku Higher Oil School, eager to create new ideas and support a green future:
Kanan Maharramli: Studies surfactants to clean oil spills, won bronze in the national chemistry contest, and interned at SOCAR Downstream. Participant in several hackathons.
Araz Maharramov: Joined green energy talks, volunteer at COP 29, and earned medals in national chemistry contests.
Said Guliyev: Works on solid-state physics and DFT and was a finalist in a renewable energy contest.
Nazrin Ahmadova: Leads the Student Youth Organization at BHOS, heads SEG BHOS, and earned third place in a women’s health idea contest.
Amid Gahramanov: Chemical Engineering student, participated in the Sustainable Environment: Transition to Green Energy International Scientific Conference and Green Chemistry Hackathon.
Elnur Mardiyev: participated in the Sustainable Environment: Transition to Green Energy International Scientific Conference and conducted research in preparing flame-retardant coating from Fish scale protein.
