The AGH Solar Plane - Drone Team is a specialized division within the AGH Solar Plane Student Research Association at AGH University of Krakow. Since the association’s founding in 2018, members have been dedicated to developing solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicles. As the organization grew, the need for focused expertise led to the formation of two teams, with the Drone Team concentrating on UAVs designed for dynamic, high-mobility applications.
Bringing together students with backgrounds in engineering, programming, and electronics, the team develops advanced drone technologies for real-world applications such as environmental monitoring, autonomous missions, and rescue operations. With a multidisciplinary approach, members continually refine UAV capabilities, integrating innovations in AI, vision systems, and power efficiency. Their dedication has earned them recognition in international competitions, solidifying their role as pioneers in drone engineering.
