The main underlying concept of our project is to develop smart glasses that bring innovation to tourism by addressing common challenges tourists face while traveling abroad, such as language barriers and navigation issues. This device looks like ordinary eyeglasses, allowing users to wear them anywhere without concerns about judgment from others. The glasses have the following features: a plastic frame, making them lightweight and comfortable to wear, a micro-projector that projects the processed image onto the lenses, and a micro-camera that scans surrounding texts and banners. The glasses will automatically translate foreign text seen by the user into their native language and display it in real-time, enhancing the user experience. Furthermore, Google Maps integration will allow the glasses to provide directions and exact distances, guiding users to their destination even in completely unfamiliar places.
