NUST Automotive Group (NUSTAG) is an engineering oriented group at College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, NUST, Pakistan. We aim to learn, implement and share automotive knowledge. We focus to innovate and blend new designs, carefully thought by talented students under the supervision of our highly experienced faculty. The team comprises of six undergraduate students from the departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The team is supervised by Dr. Fahad Mumtaz, who is also the Head of Department of Electrical Engineering. All students are final-year students and are working on the Autonomous Vehicle taken up as their Final Year Project. We have been working on the project for Autonomous Electric Vehicle since 2020 and are set to finish the project by mid-2021. The team has also participated in the international competition Shell Eco-Marathon, Autonomous Programming Competition, and we are honored to have raised Pakistan’s flag at international platforms multiple times.
