About the Competition

The aim of the competition is to raise awareness among high school students in the country about climate change, guide them towards the sustainable use of natural resources, foster consciousness in society, and encourage students to develop solutions to mitigate the negative effects of climate change.
All high school students studying in Türkiye and TRNC can participate in the competition.
The evaluation process consists of two stages:
- First Stage Evaluation (Preliminary Review)
- Second Stage Evaluation
The competition is organized under six main categories and 22 subcategories. The main categories include Environment, Economic Sectors, Air and Climate, Sustainability and Well-Being, Water Research, and Social Awareness. Within these categories, the subcategories cover a wide range of topics such as Biodiversity and Ecosystems, Land Use and Soil, Forestry, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Industry, Transportation, Energy, Tourism, Air Pollution, Greenhouse Gases, Air Quality, Water Management, Drinking and Utility Water, Water Pollution, Future of Water, Ocean Acidification, Climate Resilience, Waste Management, Health and Quality of Life, Urban Development, and Social Awareness.
