Born in Aydın in 1987, Salih Özer completed his undergraduate education at Zonguldak Karaelmas University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He continued his academic career by earning his master’s and doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Karabük University. Throughout his career, he worked as a lecturer at Muş Alparslan University Vocational School and subsequently as a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. He has held various administrative and academic positions within the university. He has over 150 international and national academic publications. He currently actively serves in different capacities, such as executive, researcher, and consultant in TÜBİTAK projects. In addition to authoring his own books, he works as a columnist for various newspapers.
Currently serving as a faculty member and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Muş Alparslan University, Özer conducts studies on internal combustion engines, fuels, energy, gas turbines, additive manufacturing, hybrid energy models, and energy geopolitics.
Participating in educational activities at DENEYAP workshops, Özer serves as the Muş provincial representative for the T3 Foundation and makes significant contributions to the execution and organizational processes within the scope of TEKNOFEST. He also supports strategic efforts aimed at developing our country's domestic and national technology ecosystem. Özer is married and a father of two.
