Born in Gaziantep in 1991, Mevlüt Yunus Kayacan completed his undergraduate education at Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He continued his academic career by earning his master’s and doctoral degrees in Manufacturing Engineering at Süleyman Demirel University. Throughout his career, he has taken part in R&D, P&D, and academic studies at institutions such as Süleyman Demirel University, Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Cybaman Tech, and Politecnico di Milano. He has been recognized for numerous international and national scientific articles, patents, utility models, consultancies, science awards, books, columns, and projects.

Currently serving as a faculty member at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Kayacan continues his academic studies in the fields of prototype development, mechanical testing, metallic and composite materials science, additive manufacturing, and modern manufacturing technologies.

Providing significant contributions to field setup, execution, and organizational processes within the scope of TEKNOFEST, Kayacan supports strategic efforts aimed at developing the domestic and national technology ecosystem. Kayacan is married and a father of two.
