Unmanned Underwater Systems The Stars Competition | TEKNOFEST

About the Competition

The primary objective of the Unmanned Underwater Systems Stars Competition is to encourage the development of autonomous systems capable of operating in challenging underwater conditions, to contribute to the cultivation of skilled human resources in this field, and to enhance participants’ engineering abilities through realistic scenarios. Within the scope of the competition, it is aimed to test critical capabilities such as underwater perception, autonomous movement, and task execution.

As part of the competition, teams are expected to demonstrate autonomous underwater navigation, acoustic and/or visual sensing systems, and the ability to complete tasks autonomously in accordance with the mission plan.

Only the top 5 teams that ranked in the 2025 Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition – Advanced Category are eligible to participate.

The competition process consists of the following stages:

  • Mission Performance Presentation – 3
  • Competition Finals

TEKNOFEST STARTUP PROGRAM

The TEKNOFEST Startup Program, organized under the leadership of the T3 Startup Center, is designed for TEKNOFEST finalists at the university level and beyond. The program offers participants 11 different opportunities, including entrepreneurship training and investor meetings.
