AERO-ROCKETRY UPM is a forward-thinking student organization advancing aerospace engineering through innovation and collaboration. Within two years, we have achieved remarkable success, including winning the International Malaysian Rocket Competition and securing multiple podium finishes.
Our projects emphasize global partnerships, such as a high-altitude balloon (HAB) project with the University of South Australia, to collect stratospheric data for atmospheric research incorporating an Autonomous Glider Recovery System. Additionally, we have collaborated with Taiwan’s National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) through research lab visits and focus group discussions, fostering aerospace research and development.
Beyond competitions, we co-led Malaysia’s team in the TEKNOFEST Medium Altitude Rocket Category last year and actively promote STEM through workshops and outreach initiatives. By integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, we aim to inspire future engineers while positioning ourselves as leaders in shaping the future of aerospace innovation.
