Ganesis, established in 2019, is a robotics team from the Bandung Institute of Technology’s Robotics Student Unit. The team actively competes in Indonesia’s prestigious Kontes Robot Indonesia (KRI), particularly in the Kontes Robot Tematik Indonesia (KRTMI) division. Dedicated to innovation, Ganesis designs and builds robots that align with the competition’s annually changing themes, integrating creativity, technical expertise, and teamwork to push the boundaries of robotics.
Originally known as PANDAGO, the team underwent a rebranding in 2020 to better reflect its mission, identity, and vision for our team. The name Ganesis is mainly derived from two key inspirations: Ganesha, the Hindu god of wisdom and the symbol of our campus ITB, and the word Genesis, representing a new beginning. This name not only represents our roots and core goals, but it also embodies the team’s commitment to continuous learning, technological advancement, and pioneering spirit in the ever-evolving field of robotics.
