Xenos was created in the year 2022 to participate in the Robotaxi competition organized by Teknofest for the year 2024. The competition category, Ready Vehicle Category, requires contestants to design and implement the required software on the ready-made vehicles provided by the competition organizers.
The team currently consists of three students, studying control and automation engineering and astronautical engineering, from Istanbul Technical University and Yildiz Technical University. Since the team was created recently, it hadn’t participated in any competitions before. The areas of interests of the members include, but not limited to, computer vision, control, and AI.
