Vertical Landing Rocket Competition | Teknofest

About the Competition

Within the scope of the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition, it is aimed to ensure the integration of the rocket designed by the teams with the Suspended Holding System (e.g., crane) provided by TÜBİTAK SAGE, to activate the avionics system automatically via the separation connector following the release of the rocket, and to enable the unmanned aerial vehicle to perform a controlled and soft landing in the target area using the Cold Gas Propulsion System.

The competition is open to associate, bachelor's, and postgraduate students and/or graduates studying in Türkiye or abroad. Teams must consist of a minimum of four (4) and a maximum of ten (10) members.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows:
  • Preliminary Design Report (PDR)
  • Critical Design Report (CDR)
  • Launch Preparation Report (LPR)

    Templates for the reports that competitors must prepare will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website soon.
