International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races

About the Competition

The aim of the competition is to promote the use of alternative and clean energy sources, provide technical and vocational experience in the automotive sector, impart teamwork skills to students, and contribute to the development of human resources for electric vehicle advancements in the country.

Teams of associate's, bachelor's degree and postgraduate students can apply for the competition.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows:
  • Development Report
  • Technical Design Report
  • Dynamic Driving and Brake Test Videos
The competition has two categories:
  • Electromobile
  • Hydromobile
The competition consists of two categories: Electromobile (battery-powered electric vehicle) and Hydromobile (electric vehicle powered by hydrogen). Since 2022, the Hydromobile races have been organized with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkish Energy, Nuclear, and Mineral Research Institute (TENMAK).

In order to support the projects of thousands of young people, a total of over 55 million TL in material support is provided to the teams that pass the stages determined for the competitions.

Prizes of over 30 Million TL are waiting for the teams that compete and qualify in TEKNOFEST 2024.

EDUCATION

Training programs will be organized for the finalist teams with the participation of the executive institution and advisory board members.

Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.

Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
