About the Competition

Air Defence Systems Competition is organised within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology competitions.

Air Defence Systems play a very important role in today's military applications to ensure the security of the country. This defence task is carried out in a wide variety of ways against many different threats. When the recent developments in the world are followed, it has been proven many times that the air defence systems of countries should have sufficient equipment and capabilities as well as the strength of their air fleets.

In line with this need, our aim is to ensure that the development and production of air defence systems that will successfully perform the missions related to the scenarios given to the teams is spread to a wide base throughout the country, and to ensure the development of original, domestic and capable systems.

Higher education (associate, undergraduate and graduate) students studying in Turkey and abroad can apply to the competition.

The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;
  • Preliminary Design Report 
  • Critical Design Report
Templates for the reports to be prepared by the competitors will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website at a later date.

OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLAIN PROJECTS IN DENEYAP BRANCHES
Young students who are trained to develop technology are given the opportunity to explain projects and inspire them.

SUPPORT PROGRAM

MATERIAL SUPPORT OPPORTUNITY
In order to support the projects of thousands of young people, a total of over 55 million TL in material support is provided to the teams that pass the stages determined for the competitions.

TRANSPORTATION / ACCOMODATION SUPPORT
Transportation / Accomodation support is provided to the finalist teams for their competitions.

AWARDS
Prizes of over 30 Million TL are waiting for the teams that compete and qualify in TEKNOFEST 2024.

EDUCATION

TRAINING CAMP PROGRAM
Training programs will be organized for the finalist teams with the participation of the executive institution and advisory board members.

Q&A MEETÇINGS
Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.
 

CAREER

INTERNSHIP
Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
