The Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University TEKNOFEST Club carried out a very special social responsibility project with high social impact. Club members organized a practical technology training targeting the children of seasonal migrant agricultural worker families who traveled to Niğde from Southeastern provinces.
Within the scope of the event, a soldering workshop was held to help children acquire basic production and manual skills. Learning to craft metal bracelets under safe usage principles, the children were introduced to practical engineering concepts. To strengthen the social dimension of the initiative, a cultural activity was integrated where "martenitsa" bracelets were distributed to celebrate the arrival of spring together. Supporting both technological awareness and social interaction, the event provided the children with a delightful and educational experience.
