The Biruni TEKNOFEST Club organized a meaningful event to pass down the inspiring life story and a lifetime dedicated to technology of Özdemir Bayraktar, the pioneer of the National Technology Initiative, to younger generations. During the organization held on campus, the documentary "Bu Dünyadan Bir Akıncı Geçti: Özdemir Bayraktar" was screened together with students. During the heavily attended screening, university youth found the opportunity to deeply feel the immense effort, sacrifices, and vision behind Türkiye's domestic and national technology journey. Reinforcing their determination to carry this precious legacy into the future through the documentary, the club members gathered right after the screening. At the conclusion of the event, an eye-opening discussion and consultation process was held with the participating students regarding the motivation sparked by the documentary and future projects.
