TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, the world’s largest Maritime, Aerospace, and Technology Festival, opened its doors to visitors at the Gölcük Naval Shipyard Command on Thursday, August 20.
Beginning with the opening address by TEKNOFEST Chairperson of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar, the first day saw technology and maritime enthusiasts filling the event area from the early morning hours to share in this historic atmosphere.

The first day featured fierce competition among young minds developing the technologies of the future. Teams demonstrated their projects in the Underwater Rocket Competition, Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competition, and Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition.
Salutation flights and SAT & SAS Demonstrations provided unforgettable moments in the air and on the water, while traditional maritime sports competitions such as the Tug of War and Heaving Line Throwing marked the day.
Throughout the day, T3 Foundation and Science Center workshops brought children together with science. Participants also enjoyed the Navy Band Concert, Science Shows, and "The Stage Is Yours" performances.
TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland will continue to welcome visitors with booth activities, exhibition areas, and surprise shows until August 23.
