The competition, which is organized to encourage high school students to work on polar sciences, enables young people to discover new worlds. The biggest support for young people in the competition, which will both raise awareness in our society with their qualified studies in this field and contribute to our country becoming one of the countries that have a say in international scientific circles by increasing its competitiveness and scientific power in this field, is provided by TÜBİTAK, the executive institution.
The High School Students Polar Research Projects Competition consists of four fields. Students can participate with their projects in the fields of life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and humanities and earth sciences. The first prize is 50 thousand TL, the second prize is 30 thousand TL and the third prize is 20 thousand TL in all categories of the competitione. The deadline for application is March 29, 2024.
