University Advanced Technologies Competition | TEKNOFEST

About the Competition

University Advanced Technologies Competition aims to guide undergraduate students at universities to specialize in specific technology verticals, encouraging them to produce scientifically grounded, applicable technological solutions that foster the ability to develop subsystems. 
   
The primary objective of the competition is to foster the emergence of projects that integrate academic knowledge with practical application in the field of advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and interactive digital systems. It aims not only for participants to generate ideas, but also to comprehensively address the technical design, prototyping approach, verification/analysis plan, and business model components for the selected problem area.

The TEKNOFEST University Advanced Technologies Competition will be held in four separate categories: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Category,  Cyber Security and Secure Digital Systems Category, Embedded Systems and Smart Hardware Category, and Interactive Digital Systems Category.

All university level associate degree, open education (at the bachelor's degree level), and bachelor's degree students studying in Türkiye and abroad can participate in the competition.
Competitors will be able to participate in teams of maximum 6 people.  
     
The evaluation stages of the competition are as follows;
  • Project Preliminary Evaluation Form
  • Project Presentation (Semi-Final)
  • Prototype and Final Presentation 
 Templates for the reports required to be prepared by participants will be announced on the TEKNOFEST website soon.

In order to support the projects of thousands of young people, material support is provided to the teams that pass the stages determined for the competitions.

Finalist teams are provided with transportation/accommodation support for TEKNOFEST competitions.

Prizes await the teams that compete in TEKNOFEST and qualify for the ranking.

EDUCATION

TRAINING CAMP PROGRAM
Training programs will be organized for the finalist teams with the participation of the executive institution and advisory board members.

Q&A MEETÇINGS
Teams with the participation of the executive and advisory board members Meetings where projects, evaluation criteria and processes can direct questions to the advisory board will be planned.
 

CAREER

INTERNSHIP
Internship opportunities in Turkey's technology institutions will be provided.

GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Turkey under the Technology Team, conducted by the Foundation for the National Team Program Support Technology Teams are provided with incentives through orientation and support programs for international competitions.
